With traces of memories coming back in
my mind is like a vagabond roaming about
nurturing the broken fragments of some shattered dreams

With traces of memories coming back in
my mind is like an agonised soul
brimming with some smothered screams

With traces of memories coming back in
my mind is like a tired cruiser
stranded in a lonely desert
with heart full of anxiety and on tiptoe

With traces of memories coming back in
my mind is like a poor famished begger
hallucinating about better tomorrows
that are to pull me out of all throes

With traces of memories coming back in
my mind is like an apparition in unrest
waiting for the peace of its soul

With traces of memories coming back in
my mind is like a cargoship carrying away
the burden of some broken promises
waiting for its deliverance from the pain of all unfulfilled

Sweet memories of once gripping
my heart now with fright and inexplicable anguish
wish,just wish I could get awaywith this pain so devilish
